Curriculum
Classical high school in 1961 and degree in Architecture in 1969. 1969-2014: teacher of design subjects in the Faculty of Architecture and in the School of Specialization in Architectural and Environmental Heritage of the University of Florence. Teaching and research topics: ancient and modern housing; buildings for entertainment, sports, social and leisure facilities; historical and monumental buildings, including the Baptistery of San Giovanni in Florence.
Architect activities focused mainly on residential construction, restoration or recovery of ancient buildings, proposals for urban issues in Florence, some consulting.
Commissions and memberships: board member of the Florence Order of Architects (1989-2005), president of the Building Commission of Prato (1995-2007), member of the Technical-Administrative Committee of the Florence University Rectorate (1995-1999) member of the Committee for Studies on the Baptistery of the Opera del Duomo (2013-2014), member of the Academy of the Arts of Design (2013-2019).
Small jobs can reserve great satisfactions: for example when space problems are solved for a large family with few means.
